Silence the Tiger

The last time the Tigers came to the Emirates, they bit a chunk of Arsenal’s momentum into the 08/09 campaign. Beaten at home, the Gunners were disappointed, distraught but never to be derailed from their focus.

This weekend, we travel to Kingston Comms to seek revenge full points. Hull got the better of us last September, but the Gunners have had a decent run of form recently. The Tigers on the other hand had a string of draws and losses, but won the last game against the Magpies in FA Cup.

While this may not be the game of the season, or clash of the titans, it is very important for the Gunners to come up on top. Currently fifth in the table, we are first pursuing the three points to get back into the Champions League spot. The Villans face the Black Cats at the Stadium of Light. An away win for the Gunners and a home win for the Black Cats will put us back in fourth.

The Gunners cannot afford to draw level, much less lose this game, else it will be a double Everest to climb for the rest of the season. Red Salvo will be up at the Liz to catch the match with fellow Gooners!

Red Salvo predicts: Hull City 0 – Arsenal 2 (E. Adebayor, R. van Persie)

On another note, the Fanzone at Arsenal.com just released the “Sky Heroes Wallpaper” featuring Tony Adams, Patrick Vieira, Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas and more. Download it for free here.

I think, it isn’t really a fantastic wallpaper. But yeah, kudos for the efforts.

UPDATE: So I didn’t think the wallpaper turned out right on my screen (1024 x 768). Therefore, I decided to make a little adjustment to the text position. I think it looks much better now. Click on the image to download. Cheers!
