Shaved To Raise Funds

The day finally came and we did it! 10 fellow Gooners representing Arsenal Singapore Supporters Club volunteered themselves to be shaved bald. And we did this to create awareness of childhood cancer and raise funds for the Children’s Cancer Foundation.

Childhood cancer doesn’t only affect the kiddo, but the whole family. Parents, siblings and close friends are usually the first to feel the impact of the challenging times the kid needs to face.

For me, it was a liberating experience. Certainly, losing my hair is nothing compared to what the kids go through, but I hope my efforts to raise funds will help them in some ways.
